We're at the threshold of fall after an unusually prolonged tropical night.

We're just over a week away from the start of the Labor Day weekend, and we hope you and your family are having a great time.

It's a little late, but August's Compliment relay was a natural progression~!

Which member of the team did Sichan Roh, who was the leader of the July Compliment relay, recommend as the August leader?

Let's get right to it!

August's Compliment relay runner is Oh Se-moon from the Quality Innovation Team at the Product Management Center.

Mr. Oh was also selected as the best employee of MONITORAPP in 2023. In August, he was also selected as the runner of the Praise Relay. Let's have an interview.

 


 

Q1. Congratulations on being selected as the August Compliment Relay runner, can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

Yes. First of all, thank you. 🙂 Now that you ask, I've been working at the Quality Innovation Team in the Product Management Division for about 4 years and 2 months.

The Quality Innovation Team is responsible for verifying and deploying products developed in the Appliance Division of the R&D Center, managing issues, and obtaining certifications.Due to the nature of our work, we work between the lab and the technical support team, so we need to have a deep knowledge of the product as a whole.

Oh, and I'm also the team leader of the Quality Innovation Team.

Q2. How would you describe the culture and atmosphere of MONITORAPP in your four years of experience?

I think MONITORAPP is an organization that doesn't stay at a certain level, but constantly challenges itself. We try to improve our work efficiency as much as financially possible.the company actively supports the areas that can improve work efficiency and supports the work environment to achieve common goals.

It's unfortunate that the number of employees has increased every year as the company has grown steadily, so the number of small events has decreased, but I think it's a company that thinks about which events will increase the satisfaction of employees according to the growing number of employees.

There is an annual company-wide meeting, and small and large welfare changes are made through the company-wide meeting.

 

Q3. Do you have any favorite memories of your time here?

At MONITORAPP, we select outstanding employees every quarter, and I think my favorite memory is when a member of the Quality Innovation Team was selected as an outstanding employee every year.

It means that the team members are growing and being recognized by their colleagues.

Q4. How does it feel to be selected as a Compliment Relay runner, and what do you think was the reason for the selection?

It's nice to know that someone thinks of me in a good light. It's always nice to hear compliments. 🙂 As for why I was selected, there are a lot of people in the company who go above and beyond the call of duty.

I think I stood out because of my role of communication and coordination between teams, which is one of my duties.

Q5. What do you most want to accomplish at MONITORAPP in the rest of 2024?

I would like to say that our goal is to lay the foundation for the quality innovation of MONITORAPP products as the team name suggests.

 

Q6. How would you like to see MONITORAPP grow in 5 years and do you have any wishes for MONITORAPP?

I think each member has different ideas and wishes for the future of MONITORAPP.

We can't satisfy everyone with everything, but I hope that the company will continue to grow in various areas and become a company where employees feel satisfied and work with good people for a long time.

I also hope that we will continue to improve for the common goal and the welfare of our employees.
